ABOUT | WHO ARE WE | OUR PURPOSE

About The Centre

The Christian Legal Centre exists to promote Christian Truth in the public arena and to protect the freedom of Bible believing Christians to speak the truth on matters such as life, marriage and the family, and to live their lives in accordance with their Christian beliefs.

To promote and protect the freedoms of Bible believing Christians in the United Kingdom; to promote religious freedom as a fundamental right by means of legal action and public promotion.

As Christians we believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and is the final authority on all matters connected with our faith. We believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to take on human form and lay down his life in order that man’s offences against God, of which all human beings are guilty, may be forgiven and access granted to heaven for those who believe. We believe that it is only through individual faith in Christ alone that man can inherit salvation. It is through the power of Christ’s resurrection that we can now live lives pleasing to God.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for Christians to stand for truth when laws and policies are introduced which are incompatible with biblical teaching.
The Christian Legal Centre has been formed in order to focus on areas where the freedom to speak and live in accordance with truth is being eroded. The Centre will enable Christians to defend their freedom to uphold and promote biblical standards.

Andrea Minichiello Williams directs the Christian Legal Centre. Andrea has been closely involved with a number of cases where Christians have defended their right to speak biblical truth. The Centre has its lawyers and, where necessary, will refer cases to other Christian lawyers who will support individuals throughout each stage of the legal process.

The Christian Legal Centre is also an information portal which will provide up to date information on cases and details of how new laws are affecting Christians.
